Prices not Affected by Cold Winter

As stated in the January Home Sales Report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association, sales were down due to the constant cold but prices were not. Up 3.2% from 2013, the median price for January this year sits at $126,900.

The article goes on to discuss that Wisconsin housing still remains affordable, most importantly by national standards. However, trends appear to be gearing toward a seller’s market as seen in urban areas.
