Folks love to visit Cable, WI, and there are a thousand reasons why, but Fall Fest is a particularly wonderful time to stop by. The fall colors are in full array, the air is crisp and fresh, and the locals and tourists alike come to experience the best of the season. Festive banners, flowers and hay bales for sitting on, line the street downtown. White tents shadow crafts for sale by resident and visiting artists and at the Farmer’s Market, located beside the United Church of Christ, fresh produce, flowers, and bakery items are available for purchase.
Classic cars of many kinds are proudly displayed by owners who enthusiastically engage you in conversation about their prized coupe or latest acquisition. Kids with treat-stained faces scramble from one activity to another while a lively assortment of music is played from the deck of the Chamber of Commerce. There is something for everyone, including a casual wine tasting event where local experts share their favorites.
Fall Fest on Saturday starts off at 7:30 am with a Pumpkin Pecan Pancake Breakfast at the Cable Community Center sponsored by McKinney Realty, LLC. This will be a hearty start to the day which will keep you ‘tied over’ until other vendors offer their specialties at lunchtime.
We hope to see you on Saturday, September 27 for Fall Fest in Cable.
